The series recently wrapped up filming in the picturesque landscapes of Ireland and boasts a stellar cast, including Saoirse-Monica Jackson from Derry Girls and Nell Hudson, who portrays Laoghaire MacKenzie in Outlander.

Based on the best-selling novel by Elizabeth Macneal, the story is set in 1851 and revolves around Iris, a doll painter with dreams of becoming an artist.

By night, she secretly pursues her passion, all while her world collides with a taxidermist named Silas and a Pre-Raphaelite painter named Louis.

In the backdrop of a city abuzz with anticipation for the Great Exhibition, Iris is presented with an opportunity to break free and embark on a new life.
