Kerry Katona emotional after recording ‘Whole Again’ audiobook

Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona has revealed that her latest biography was “the hardest to do” as she relives her “past trauma.”

Speaking about her new audiobook and autobiography, Whole Again: Love, Life and Me, Kerry took to Instagram to share how emotional writing her new biography has been for her.

She penned: “My audio book is now available on Apple Books, Google Books and Audiobooks.com.

“not gonna lie!!!! This will be hard to listen too!! I tried so hard not to get emotional!!

“Hope it helps who ever needs to hear it!! It was extremely hard to do. honestly don’t even know how I finished it!!!!!!!!

“Sorry for the emotion and tears in my voice when you hear.

“Out of my 3 biographies this was definitely my hardest to do, and to be honest, I’m still traumatised and doing my best to get the right therapy to help me.” (sic)

Many of her 821,000 followers on Instagram flocked to the comments section to flood Kerry with support.

One person typed: “Look forward to giving it a read/listen, thanks for being real and sharing your experiences with us its truly inspiring.”

A second person commented: “Congratulations and well done we’re very proud of you xxx.”

A third said: “I’m enjoying reading this book. you are an inspiration. good on ya.”

The 43-year-old has recently opened up in her latest column with OK! Magazine and discussed that she’s been struggling with recent panic episodes.

She said: “I’ve not been feeling great this week – I’ve been having a lot of panic attacks.

“I don’t know what’s going on. I’ve had them before but not like this. I feel like I can’t breathe and then I have this emotional breakdown.”

She continued: “I went to the doctor and they think it could be PTSD related to something in my past.”
