However, it was recently dethroned as the most-viewed trailer within a 24-hour period by Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which garnered 718 million views in the same timeframe.
Take-Two Interactive’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, has hinted that the price of GTA VI may range between $70 and $80. This aligns with the industry’s trend of increasing prices for new video games, which have risen from the standard $60 to the current expected price of $79.99 for the standard edition. Special and Collector’s editions are rumored to be priced around $200.
The game is expected to launch first on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with a PC release anticipated to follow 12 to 18 months later. Pre-orders for GTA VI are expected to open after Take-Two’s earnings call in May 2026.
