Jaylinn Hawkins Signs with Baltimore Ravens
Jaylinn Hawkins has signed a two-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens, worth a total of $10 million. This move comes after Hawkins spent two seasons with the New England Patriots, where he established himself as a key player on defense.
During his time with the Patriots, Hawkins recorded impressive statistics, including 134 tackles, four interceptions, and two fumble recoveries. He started 26 games and played a significant role in the team’s defensive schemes.
In the 2025 season, Hawkins achieved a career-best defensive snap rate of 85.8%, playing a total of 1,102 defensive snaps. His performance solidified his position as a starter for the Patriots, but the team opted to sign veteran safety Kevin Byard, leading to Hawkins’ departure.
Hawkins was originally selected in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft and has also played for the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers. After being cut by the Falcons in 2023, he was claimed by the Chargers, where he continued to develop his skills.
