Mindy Cohn revealed she was diagnosed with cancer for a second time. The actress, best known for her role as Natalie in the sitcom The Facts of Life, shared the news on Instagram.
Cohn previously battled breast cancer for five years starting in 2017. She thanked the staff of Providence Saint John’s Hospital in her post, expressing gratitude for their care.
In her Instagram update, Cohn posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed. She stated, “Have been off social media for awhile ‘ cuz I had to go kick cancer’s ass.” This marked her return to social media after a hiatus.
Her post included the phrase “F**K Cancer!” and showed her determination to fight the disease. Cohn also expressed appreciation for her family and friends, who have supported her during this challenging time.
Several celebrities sent well wishes through comments on her post. Sarah Paulson wrote, “Sending love … your way.” This shows the strong community support surrounding Cohn.
Cohn starred in The Facts of Life, which aired for nine seasons from 1979 to 1988. She also appeared in the series Palm Royale, where she acted opposite Kristen Wiig.
Cohn indicated that she is recouping for a couple of weeks before her next adventure. Yet, details remain unconfirmed about any specific plans following her recovery.
