Emmerdale: David Metcalfe asks Victoria for a favour
David Metcalfe (played by Matthew Wolfenden) has his sights set on getting back together with his ex-girlfriend, Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) in Emmerdale.
The couple parted ways last year after Victoria discovered David had let her take the blame for his speeding offence.
Disgusted with his selfish attitude, Victoria soon dumped the shopkeeper and has been moving on with her life.
In upcoming scenes, David admits to his stepson Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) that his feelings for Victoria are burgeoning once again.
However, Jacob is not happy about it at all. Why would he be so against David reconnecting with Victoria?

Could Jacob have feelings for her too and want David to leave her well alone?
It comes in the wake of David actor Matthew revealing he is leaving the ITV soap.
Speaking on This Morning earlier this week, the actor said: “I’m so nervous about leaving, after almost two decades.”
However, he teased the character may return, adding: “It feels like the right time. The door’s left open, they’re not killing me off, I’ve been promised.

“I’m allowed to tell you that. So who knows, I might be back, we will see.”
Reflecting on his time on the popular ITV show, Matthew gushed: “I met my wife [Charley Webb] on the show, we’ve had three kids.
“Not only has it given me 18 years of an amazing job, it’s given me family. So to leave it, it’s been a big, big part of my life.”
He hinted Victoria is the reason his character ends up leaving the Yorkshire Dales for good.
“There is a resolution of sorts, I can’t give too much away,” he teased. “Victoria is the reason why he leaves the village. Put it that way.”
Could Victoria do the unthinkable and hook up with David’s stepson Jacob? It would be a very sticky situation for everyone involved.
It might be enough of a bombshell to make David leave the village forever.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
