New Initiatives Announced
Georgia Wine Producers have introduced the Georgia Wine Highway Passport, a digital program designed to enhance travel experiences for wine enthusiasts. This initiative, powered by the tech company Bandwango, aims to promote local wineries and attractions.
The Georgia Wine Highway Passport celebration is set to run from March 1 through August 31, encouraging visitors to explore the state’s rich wine culture.
Nebraska’s Passport Program
In Nebraska, the upcoming 2026 Nebraska Passport program will feature 70 stops divided into 10 different themes. This initiative is designed to help both Nebraskans and out-of-state visitors discover the state’s hidden gems while supporting local businesses and attractions.
Travelers participating in the Nebraska Passport program will have the opportunity to visit attractions and collect digital stamps from May 1 to September 30. Participants can earn prizes based on the number of stamps they collect, adding an element of excitement to their travels.
A kickoff party for the Nebraska Passport program is scheduled for May 1 at the Museum of American Speed in Lincoln, marking the official start of the program.
Community Engagement
Additionally, the Manatee Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller is set to open its Passport Division on April 11 for its annual Passport Saturday event. This initiative provides an opportunity for individuals with busy weekday schedules to apply for a passport outside of regular business hours.
To streamline the application process, the Passport Division recommends that applicants fill out their passport application in advance, which is available for download on the U.S. Department of State’s website.
